I have just passed my 6 month anniversary of blogging and what better way to celebrate than to have a great prize to giveaway. In the past 6 months, my blog has grown very quickly and I have joined the wonderful foodie community. I had no idea there were so many talented people out there who share my love of food! Congrats on the blogaversary! My favourite dish to make is either a traditional roast beef dinner or date and walnut loaf.

ReplyDeleteMine has to be 'Pan Fried Chicken in Honey with Sweet Chilli Rice'. Kids all look forward to it and my eldest daughter made it for her cooking exam at school.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite is mince pies, with the Now Xmas CD playing. I used to make dozens and give them to family and friends. I don't like them myself, just enjoyed the whole process!

ReplyDeleteI have so many favourites as baking is what I DO to relax. I recently worked through every recipe in the WI book of cakes. Each recipe worked perfectly I am just about to buy a 'Hairy Bikers' recipe book with my Christmas gift vouchers and will be cooking and baking like crazy. Luckily I have family and colleagues who enjoy eating!

ReplyDeleteI'm coeliac and although I've tried every variety of gluten free bread on sale in the supermarkets, I just can;t find a ready baked loaf that I like. So instead I baker my own gluten free bread. It's yummy....and I feel soooooo virtuous when I'm eating breakfast toast made from homemade bread with homemade jam :-) @piperanddaisy

ReplyDeleteBlack Forest Muffins. Choc muffins with the core removed and cherry jam put inside then the core replaced and choc butter icing then fresh whipped cream piped on top. Finish with a cherry - the kids love getting stuck into helping make these :)
ReplyDeleteBakewell Cake with raspberries. Put half the almond cake mixture in the bottom of the tin, then add the raspberries. Manouvre the rest of the mixture over the raspberries, then decorate with almonds. Bake in oven then cool and cover with icing sugar. Divine
